I know, I know, Im a bit behind, but with good cause! I recently brought a sweet little boy into the world. How can you want to do anything but cuddle with this sweet boy?!

While not cuddling I made these sweet fishing invitations:

I love the way they turned out!

I also did a few birthday packs, which in the mist of everything going on, I forgot to take pictures of. I remember the next day, which is WAY too late. I will remember next time.

I have more pictures to post another time. I will do it soon!

Summer Love

Summer is the season of weddings. With that comes bright colors and beautiful flowers. I captured both with these fun green and black invitation samples.

This is a 5 1/2 by 8 1/2. I love the green embossed flower on the top. It makes me think of wild flowers, dancing free. There is a matching flower cluster in the bottom right corner (if you look close). The thick green ribbon holds everything in place on this post card style card

This is a 6x6 square........or is it? It actually opens into an 8x8 diamond. I love the glittery flower paper!

I always have to throw in a "non-traditional" card. You know one that isnt on black paper. I think they are fun. I love the diagonal embossed flower pattern, and the little square to fill as you please on the front.

Ice cream on a Sundae!

I just finished birthday invitations for a sundae themed party. I love the way they turned out! I love the colors. The glitter. The flowers. All the little details. They are so fun and fit the theme perfect!

Here is a collection of Birthday invitations. Some are older (I have been slacking in blog land lately), but they are still super cute!

The first is a 5x7 princess themed party invite. I love the pink crown behind the velum

This one, I think, is by far the coolest. It is a light saber! The handle fits in a 4x6 envelope. The actual light saber part pulls out. It was a bit tricky to figure out how to make it but it is soooo cool!

And a beautiful mermaid. She is on a teal 4x6 card that opens with all the info inside. She is so bright colored and fun!

I recently met with a bride whose only request was something fun but nice for their late summer wedding. I made her a variety of sizes to see.

I like this because it is different. The bright green instead of black. It has an over lapping front, and 2 pockets for different cards.

Wedding Programs

My little brother recently got married. I was asked to make the wedding programs. This was something new to me. I think they are a nice touch to a wedding. It is a way to let people know who is who, and what is going on.

Their wedding had more of an elegant feel to it. So his programs turned out like this:

These can be made so many different ways to add a special touch to any wedding. The possibilities are endless

I recently have fallen in love......

I love this style of card. More, though, I love the colors. I love how they pop with the cardboard looking background. I love how versatile these cards are. They can been used for almost anything. I just love them.

She wanted to have a fun snow theme, since it is winter, that was different. I used 3 shades of purple. A sliver embossed snowflake that is raised off the card. I love the purple and silver!

This is a 5x7, tri fold, with an inner pocket. The outside box could have the date or last name. It could even be replaced with wax seal.

I had the opportunity to make Raymond birthday invitations. He is a cute little boy that loves the beach. He wanted to have a pool party, with matching invitations. I think they turned out well.

I'm excited to share more wedding invitations

They are a 9x4 size. They have a "peep" window, that shows part of a flower that I heat embossed with a chocolate brown. They have a wine colored bow, laced through silver eyelets.

Once you open it you see the full image. There is also a RSVP card matted on the same wine color.

I made matching THANK YOU cards. They are a 6.5x3 size. These have the same flower image, just in a versa ink, so it look like a water mark.

I love them!

Graduation Announcements

Christian asked if I could make his college graduation announcements. I was happy to do it. I like the post card type. It is just one sheet that doesn't open. I thought this would be prefect for the simple, clean cut style he likes. I raised the white diamond to give it some dimension.

He picked the first sample I made.

He chose to put class of 2009, in the white diamond. I ended up using a black with a light pinstripe instead of plain black. They turned out quite nicely.

Joe and Cari

Joe and Cari asked me to put together some samples for their wedding. They arent getting married for about a year, but with Joe deploying they wanted to pick one out before he left.

This is a 9x4 size. It has a pocket for a registration card.

This card I did some embossing in the corners. It is very simple yet elegant.

This invitation is on a 2 tone paper. The scallops are hand cut. It has a very elegant feel to it.

Cari and Joe like a something different from every sample. We were able to sit down, combine what they liked and come up with an invitation.
